It was a little special on my flight there... First time I had to go down to the runway to take a bus which drove us to the plane. It was quite some distance away from the airport. Past the gates and I saw many planes close up!! WAHHH!! think my bro wld be shiok if he went.. First time climbing up to the plane...it's felt like the old days of boarding an aeroplane. Was busy taking photos until the personnel stopped me...OOPS! So they dun allow pple to take photos on the runway..hmm?

More pics of shanghai..

SO many antiques...

LONG queue for the xiao long bao...

Climbing Huangshan was tiring. I think we missed out on the more famous landmarks there as we went up thru the other route which was closer to our hotel. But If we went the other way, it wld take 4h to reach hotel and carrying 3 backpacks containing our 1 day stay is not light at all. You cannot carry luggage onto Huangshan becoz it will nt survive the rocky steps. Somemore have to go thru the 100 cloud stairs (so called u can see clouds by climbing thru 100 steps) But luckily the weather was fine that day so that the pics turned out nice. If it was raining, it wld sure b a miserable and wet climb. At the end of the day, I was "blackfaced", walking continously for the whole day and 7 km is quite tough when the stairs are continous. But serously it is a good place for exercising..haha.. can tone ur thigh and calf muscles. Relly respect those pple who carry food, resources all the way up from the bottom of the mountain all the way up... it's nt ez even if they do this everyday.. Even I who din carry anything already felt tired after walking for some dist. Heard that they use human labour so as to save up on their costs but i think this is nt a long term solution. It's nt fair to those pple who get so little pay but do so much work. Why dun make use of the cable cars they have? Thxfully we had heeded fren's advice to buy a walking stick. It relli helps to have sth to lean on when there's no resting area.

Imagine this route for 7km...:X

Nice scenery at the top though..

The path we took..one roundabout + the extending routes.. terrible route.. they shld improve by giving the timing..
