1 more day to the rat year!
It's new year eve today. Have been cleaning up the house over the past few days..... arghh..... already vacuum the house and throw away a lot of stuff...but somehow there's still more things to be done. I relli need a bigger room...
New year shld be a happy event...even cleaning up the house shld be too but Every year there's always the praying to be done...and my mum will whip up the same old dishes...offering duck n chicken and all those longeveity noodles to the gods...and then there's the burning of incense papers making the whole house dirty and smoky again...hai...what's the pt of cleaning up when it's going to be dusty again on the eve? I think it's time to change the old tradition la... doing the same old ritual every year... staying up w/o sleep to cook that pot of pig kidney soup.. and tiring ourselves out for wat? Feel so pissed off becoz i am the one who vacuum the house, every hidden corner, even the piano and i done that twice and yet pple dun appreciate my efforts.
